Dr. Reiss' friends have been rather
troublesome, and if they had only carried out the
usual procedure for obtaining visas, etc., instead
of trying to short circuit them through this office,
it would have been a good deal more rapid, and much easier for them. ( meede tally (= me?)
I should perhaps explain that Mr. Blacklock
called at this office some time ago and I explained
to him the procedure for obtaining visas etc. for
Hong Kong and the necessary regulations for the
practice of medicine in that Colony. It is perhaps
a little unfortunate that he should have chosen to
write to me personally.
